I like using the iron mine in Dawnstar. It has about 10-15 veins so you get a good bit from it. Dawnstar also has a quicksilver mine on the other side of the water. The best thing is there are 2 caves you can go into and after you make a circle around the map there us Hammerfall there to meet you so you can just mail your full inventory to a mule character and circle the whole map agen and come back with a full inventory and mail
